20 credits at level HE4
This is an introduction to 3D modelling using the tools which are in widespread use in the games industry. Students will learn the basics of modelling and texturing. The module is practice-based and students will be required to work to deadlines which progressively become more realistic. The emphasis here is on accurate development of simple 3D models.

The module is practical in nature. Students will work on briefs provided by the lecturer. Extensive use is made of critiques and students will be encouraged to critique their own work and that of their peers. Assessment is by coursework.
