This module draws together the accumulated learning of all the modules studied on the
course, in the generation of (a) a body of practical work in video and/or photography,
and (b) a short dissertation (a 6000 word extended essay) on an associated topic.
It provides a platform, therefore, from which students may demonstrated originality of
ideas, independence of study, and coherent, appropriate and innovative use of
materials and media. It requires the student to demonstrate a clear understanding of
contemporary photography and/or video practice,and to recognise the context within
which they are working.
